EPL: Arteta Finally Signs New Four-Year Contract With Arsenal
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has signed a new four-year contract with the Premier League club.
The 44-year-old’s previous deal was due to expire next summer, but he has now committed his future to Arsenal until June 2030.
Arteta was appointed Arsenal manager in 2019 and has since established himself as a key figure in the club’s recent success.
The Spaniard led the Gunners to their first Premier League title in 22 years last season after three consecutive second-place finishes.
He also guided Arsenal to only the club’s second Champions League final, although they lost to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.
During his time at Arsenal, Arteta has won the FA Cup and three Community Shield trophies.
“It’s a privilege to commit my future to the club and to continue to work with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal,” Arteta said.
