Officer Woos Denies Announcing Broda Shaggy’s Death
Nigerian content creator, Officer Woos, has dismissed claims that he announced the death of his colleague, Broda Shaggi.
The controversy began after an X user, @Ghost91on, alleged that Officer Woos had shared news of Broda Shaggy’s death on Instagram.
The post read:
“Officer Woos Just Announced The Passed Away Of His Brother Broda Shaggi Via His IG Page. May His Soul Rest In Perfect Peace.”
Reacting to the viral claim, Officer Woos shared a screenshot of the post on his Instagram Story and simply wrote:
“False.”
His legal representatives, Versed Attorneys, also released a statement denying the report and describing it as false and malicious.
The statement read in part:
“We Act As Solicitors To Mr. Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi Alias ‘Officer Woos’ (‘Our Client’), A Respected Content Creator And Public Figure, And Write This Statement In Response To False And Malicious Publications Currently Circulating On Social Media, Particularly X (Formerly Twitter).
“It Has Come To Our Client’s Attention That Certain Unverified And Anonymous Social Media Pages Have Published Claims Alleging That Our Client Publicly Announced The Death Of A Close Colleague On His Official Page.
“Our Client Has Never Announced The Death Of Any Colleague, Friend, Or Associate On Any Of His Platforms. These Publications Are Entirely Manufactured And Constitute A Deliberate Attempt To Misinform The Public.”
The statement further warned that legal action could be taken against individuals responsible for spreading the false information.
The rumour surfaced about three months after Broda Shaggy was reportedly shot while filming at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State in March 2026. Since that incident, the comedian has not publicly addressed the matter.

Some Of My Colleagues Went Broke After Spending Their Money On Parties, South African Women – Spyro
Nigerian singer, Spyro, has claimed that some of his colleagues became financially broke because of excessive spending on parties, luxury lifestyles, and women.
Speaking during a performance at an event over the weekend, the “Who’s Your Guy” hitmaker described extravagant spending on women and frivolous activities as poor financial decisions.
According to him, there is nothing wrong with having fun or taking care of a partner, but people should avoid spending recklessly.
He urged men to focus more on saving and investing their money rather than wasting it on temporary pleasures.
He Said:
“If You Are Here And You Are Spending Money On Women, I Think You Are Wasting Your Time. I’m Not Saying You Should Not Spend On Your Woman, But Use Your Head.
“I Know Some Of My Colleagues Who Went Broke Because They Made Their First Bag And Blew It Off On Parties And Trips To South Africa. But I Didn’t Move That Way And That Is Why I Am Where I Am.”

However, he said he turned down their advances, including offers to sponsor luxury trips abroad, choosing instead to focus on his music career and investments.
