Everything Is Dawning On Me – Phyna Laments As She Nears 30 Without Getting Married
Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has shared how growing older has changed her views on marriage, admitting that she now sees things differently as she approaches her 30th birthday.
In a video posted on her Instagram Story, the reality TV star reflected on turning 29 and said she is beginning to understand life from a different perspective.
According to Phyna, when she was 22 or 23 years old, she thought 29 was still a long way off. Now that she has reached that age, she says many things are becoming clearer to her.
She also admitted that she used to wonder why some women in their early 30s were not married, believing at the time that something was wrong with them.
However, she said age and experience have changed her mindset, and she now realizes that there is nothing wrong with being unmarried in your early 30s.
Phyna explained that many of the women she once judged were simply living their lives, and their marital status did not define them.
She said, “I’m just thinking out loud. I remember when I was 22, 23 then, you know, 29 was so far away, but now this is 29 and everything is just dawning on me.
“I remember that time all those my aunties that were like in their early 30s that they are not married. I’d be like, ‘Auntie, you no go marry? Auntie, you no marry?’ Like then it was looking like the auntie get problem.
“Guys. Guys. We sef don dey touch am o. Auntie no get problem. I swear. Our aunties, they did have problem. No single problem.”

It Doesn’t Have To Be Peter Obi, I Only Want A Better Nigeria – Stan Nze
Nollywood actor Stan Nze has said his support for any presidential candidate is based on competence rather than tribe or personal affiliation, stressing that his priority is a better Nigeria.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor said he is not concerned about which region or ethnic group produces the country’s next leader. Instead, he wants a president who genuinely has the interest of Nigerians at heart and is capable of moving the nation forward.
According to Stan Nze, good governance affects every Nigerian regardless of tribe or location, making it important to choose a leader who can deliver meaningful progress.
While noting that his support is not tied to any individual, the actor added that, based on the candidates he has seen so far, he believes Peter Obi remains the best option.
He said:
“I only want to see a better Nigeria. It doesn’t have to be Peter Obi. I’m not looking for someone from my tribe, but for a candidate who has Nigerians at heart and can move the country forward, not one step forward and ten steps backward.
“So far, I haven’t seen any better candidate than Peter Obi in this election. The truth is that governance doesn’t affect only one tribe or region, it affects everyone.”

She Had Concerns – Lateef Adedimeji Opens Up About Marrying Mo Bimpe
Nollywood actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji has revealed that his wife, actress Mo Bimpe (Adebimpe Oyebade), initially had concerns about marrying him because of their different religious backgrounds.
Speaking during an interview with Morayo Afolabi Brown on her YouTube show, Lateef said he had once promised himself that he would never marry someone from the entertainment industry, but things changed.
According to the actor, he is a Muslim while Mo Bimpe is a Christian, but he never saw religion as a barrier to their relationship.
He explained that what mattered most to him was finding peace with the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
Lateef disclosed that although Mo Bimpe had reservations about the relationship, he remained determined and asked to meet her father.
He said:
“I promised never to marry someone from my industry, but God had better plans. I am a Muslim, she’s a Christian. It didn’t matter to me because the most important thing before religion is my peace.
“She had her concerns, but I told her to let me meet her father, and the rest is history.”
The actor also addressed viral AI-generated photos circulating online, which falsely claim to show the faces of their triplets.
Lateef clarified that the children seen in the photos are not their babies and confirmed that he and his wife will reveal their triplets’ faces when they decide the time is right.
He said:
“Also, those children you are seeing with us on social media are not the faces of our triplets because it’s AI. When we are ready, we will reveal their faces.”

What Exactly Do You Want? – Eniola Badmus Reacts To Criticism Despite Losing 87kg
Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has opened up about the criticism she continues to face despite her remarkable weight-loss journey, saying people still find reasons to judge her.
The actress revealed that she weighed 170 kilograms five years ago but now weighs 83 kilograms after years of making healthier lifestyle choices.
According to Eniola, the transformation did not happen overnight. She said it took years of discipline, consistency, sacrifice, emotional struggles, setbacks and a daily commitment to improving her health.
While she is proud of how far she has come, the actress admitted that the negative comments from some people have been painful.
She noted that the same people who once mocked her for being overweight are now criticizing her for becoming slimmer.
Eniola stressed that remaining silent in the face of insults does not mean the comments do not affect her emotionally.
She wrote:
“Five years ago, I weighed 170KG. Today, in 2026, I weigh 83KG. That didn’t happen overnight. It took years of discipline, sacrifice, pain, consistency, tears, setbacks and choosing my health every single day.
“The same people who body-shamed me when I was plus-size are the same people body-shaming me now that I’ve lost the weight. What exactly do you want from me?
“Just because I don’t respond to the insults doesn’t mean they don’t hurt. It doesn’t mean I’m weak. It doesn’t mean I don’t have feelings. I’m human.
“Nobody deserves to be bullied for being plus-size, and nobody deserves to be bullied for losing weight either. I’m proud of my journey. I’m still growing, still healing and still becoming the best version of myself.”
