‘I’m A Reckless Spender, Chioma Is My Life Coordinator’ – Davido

Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, is the one who manages his finances, admitting that he is a reckless spender.

In a viral video making the rounds online, the singer was seen calling Chioma to request that she transfer $4,000 to his personal assistant, Lati, after he was unable to access his account.

During the call, Davido said, “Hello, hello baby, good morning my wife, my love. Help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t login, I don’t know why, is the service here. Alright. We’re taking off now to Naija, I love you.”

After the call, his official streamer, Davrel, asked if Chioma had taken charge of managing his money.

Responding, Davido admitted that his wife handles his finances because of his spending habits.

He said, “Of course, you know I’m a reckless spender. Na she dey arrange everything. Na my life coordinator be that.”

The singer also recently disclosed that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, an amount equivalent to about ₦300 million to ₦400 million.

According to Davido, the monthly expenses do not include money spent on his wife, Chioma, other members of his household, or purchases of luxury cars and expensive jewellery.

He said, “I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household. It also doesn’t include expenses for the purchase of luxury cars and jewellery.”
