Chelsea Announce Squad Numbers For Players Ahead Of 2026/2027 Season
Chelsea have officially confirmed their squad numbers ahead of the 2026/2027 season, with several players taking new shirt numbers.
One of the biggest changes sees Joao Pedro take the No. 9 shirt from Liam Delap.
Pedro joined Chelsea last season and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign, scoring 20 goals and providing nine assists in all competitions.
Delap will now wear the No. 12 shirt after scoring just three goals in 47 appearances last season.
Wesley Fofana has also been handed a new number, taking the No. 3 shirt previously worn by Marc Cucurella, who has joined Real Madrid this summer.
New signing Morgan Rogers, who arrived from Aston Villa, will wear the No. 17 shirt.

Meanwhile, Mykhailo Mudryk will wear the No. 33 shirt after being cleared to return to action. His former No. 10 shirt has now been given to Cole Palmer.
