‘You Went To Settle With Oppressor’ – Stanley Ontop Drags Regina Daniels [VIDEO]

Nollywood actor and activist, Stanley Ajemba, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, has criticised actress Regina Daniels over reports that she may have reconciled with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

The development comes nearly a year after the couple’s reported separation amid allegations of maltreatment and domestic abuse.

Speculation about their reconciliation intensified after a video showing Regina at Ned Nwoko’s house surfaced online. The development reportedly disappointed some Nigerians and celebrities who had supported the actress during her marital crisis.

However, Regina’s sister, Destiny Daniels, dismissed the reconciliation rumours, explaining that the actress visited the house to see her children.

Reacting to the controversy, Stanley Ontop, who previously shared a viral video of Regina appearing distressed following alleged abuse, expressed disappointment over the development.

He recalled that he had supported Regina during the dispute and was nearly arrested after publicly speaking out in her defence.

Stanley also said activists he brought into the matter were now angry with him because he had assured them that Regina would not return to Ned’s house.

“I almost went to prison because of this case. I was the one that posted the video of where they were harassing Regina at Ned’s house. I was almost arrested because they were looking for me to be arrested,” he said.

He questioned why Regina did not inform him or her brother about her visit if she had only gone to see her children.

“I couldn’t sleep last night, I cried. See person wey I dey support. Now Nigerians are dragging you, they are dragging me,” he added.

Stanley went on to accuse Regina of settling her differences with Ned, despite her sister’s explanation that the actress had only visited to see her children.

“You didn’t go there to see your children. You don settle with Ned. Me and you know say you didn’t go there to see your children. There’s nothing you will tell me that I will believe,” he said.

He described Ned as her “oppressor” and vowed that he would no longer get involved in marital disputes.

“I almost went to prison because of this case. My picture and information are still in Maitama police station. Now, you went to settle with your oppressor. I’m making this video so that everybody will know that I’m not aware, I don’t give consent,” Stanley said.

The controversy comes nine months after Ned Nwoko publicly vowed never to take Regina Daniels back as his wife.
