2026 Ballon d’Or: Definitely Possible – Bellingham Names Player To Win Award
England midfielder Jude Bellingham has named his international teammate Harry Kane as a possible winner of the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
Bellingham was speaking after England’s 3-0 victory over Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday night.
The Real Madrid midfielder praised Kane’s qualities both as a player and as a person.
“Kane is fantastic, as a person and as a player. Nothing he ever does surprises me,” Bellingham said.
He added: “Such an amazing role model, amazing guy and an honour to share the pitch with him.”
When asked about Kane’s chances of winning the Ballon d’Or, Bellingham replied: “Ballon d’Or? Yeah, who knows. Definitely possible…”

Bellingham himself is among the final 30 nominees for this year’s Ballon d’Or award, which is scheduled to be presented in London on October 26.
