2026 Ballon d’Or: PSG President Al-Khelaifi Names Three Players To Win Award

Paris Saint-Germain president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has admitted that he wants one of his players to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Speaking with Marca, Al-Khelaifi listed PSG trio Ousmane Dembele, Fabian Ruiz and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as players he believes deserve the award.

He said: “Obviously, I want one of my three players to win it: Dembele, Kvaratskhelia or Fabian Ruiz, who also deserves it.

“Although you know that I know Kylian Mbappe well and that he is one of the best players in the world.”

Dembele, Ruiz and Kvaratskhelia are among the 30 nominees shortlisted for the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

During the year under review, Paris Saint-Germain won the Ligue 1 title and also lifted the Champions League for the second consecutive season.
