Before I Proposed To Bambam, We Were Fighting – Teddy A
Nigerian actor Tope “Teddy A” Adenibuyan has revealed that he and his wife, Bamike “Bambam,” were not on speaking terms for two weeks before he proposed to her.
Teddy A disclosed this during an interview he attended with Bambam, where they also addressed claims that they got married because of the pregnancy of their first child.

Bambam explained that their marriage was based on love and not because she was pregnant.
“Even about the pregnancy that people were talking about, saying that it was because of the pregnancy he married me. If Teddy did not want to marry me, there was nothing I was going to do about it,” she said.
Teddy A said that when Bambam told him she was pregnant, he felt it was a sign and decided to take responsibility.
“Do you understand that before I proposed to my wife, we were not talking for two weeks. We were fighting. Then when she told me she was pregnant, I felt that it was a sign. If you don’t want this woman, you don’t have to be with her. Now that she is pregnant, what do you want to do? Do you want to be responsible and man up,” he said.
Bambam and Teddy A, who are both former Big Brother Naija housemates, got married on September 7, 2019, in Ogun State.
They later held their white wedding on November 16, 2019, in Dubai. The couple have two children.
In a 2020 interview, Bambam disclosed that she experienced complications during the birth of her first child and subsequently battled postpartum depression.
