Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho attracted praise from Bursaspor supporters after making a heartwarming gesture towards a member of the club’s staff following his goal against Mardin 1969 Spor on Sunday.

The Nigerian striker scored his 12th goal of the season, extending his remarkable scoring run to nine consecutive league matches for the Turkish side.

According to Bursasporx, it was Iheanacho’s actions after finding the net that caught the attention of fans and earned him widespread commendation.

During his goal celebration, Iheanacho acknowledged Bursaspor’s chef, a gesture that highlighted his appreciation for the people working behind the scenes at the club.

Despite his individual achievement, however, Iheanacho could not help Bursaspor secure a positive result, as the team suffered defeat against Mardin 1969 Spor.

Zdravko Dimitrov scored a late goal to secure victory for Mardin 1969 Spor, leaving Bursaspor disappointed despite Iheanacho’s contribution.
