EPL: Iwobi’s Goal Earns Fulham First Win Of Season

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi scored the decisive goal as Fulham secured their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town on Saturday.

The Nigerian international found the net at Craven Cottage to help Fulham claim all three points against the newly promoted side in their seventh Premier League fixture.

Fulham entered the match seeking to end their poor start to the campaign, having struggled to secure victories in their opening league games.

After sustained pressure from the hosts, Iwobi broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute with a well-struck effort that put Fulham ahead.

His goal proved to be the difference between the two teams, as Fulham maintained their advantage until the final whistle.

The victory gives Fulham a much-needed boost as they look to improve their position in the Premier League table and build momentum for the coming fixtures.
