‘I Faced Constant Spiritual Warfare In Music Industry’ – Nicki Minaj Opens Up
Popular American rapper Nicki Minaj has opened up about the challenges she has faced in the music industry, claiming that powerful figures often work behind the scenes to control artists.
According to Minaj, some influential individuals in the industry can make talented musicians “almost invisible” if they refuse to follow their rules.
She alleged that many of the difficulties faced by her and other talented artists are orchestrated by these powerful figures, although she did not mention any names.
Speaking during a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford podcast, the rapper claimed that some people in the industry view artists as properties whose main purpose is to generate money for them.
She also alleged that artists who refuse to cooperate with such individuals often face sabotage.
Minaj said she has personally experienced what she described as “constant spiritual warfare” throughout her career because she refused to play by their rules.
The rapper explained that if she had known earlier how spiritually challenging the music industry could be, she would have been better prepared.
“It was constant spiritual warfare. I wish I kind of knew sooner that this music industry was such a spiritual experience because I felt like I brought a knife to a gunfight,” she said.

Why I Stopped Going To Church – Nicki Minaj
American rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed why she stopped attending church regularly.
Speaking in a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford podcast, Minaj explained that she stopped going to church after her music career became successful.
According to the rapper, her decision was not based on a change in her beliefs or faith. Instead, her busy work schedule made it difficult for her to attend church services.
She said that performing on Friday and Saturday nights often leaves her exhausted, making it hard to wake up for church on Sundays.
“Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church,” she said.
Despite no longer attending church regularly, Minaj said she still maintains a strong relationship with God.
She admitted that she sometimes struggles to remain consistent in her spiritual life but continues to make efforts to improve.
The rapper also stated that her faith has continued to grow stronger over time as she develops spiritually.

Reno Omokri Reacts After Davido Called Him ‘Bingo’
Nigeria’s ambassador-designate to Mexico, Reno Omokri, has responded after singer Davido referred to him as “Bingo” on social media.
It was reported that Reno had earlier claimed that the delay in his resumption of duties in Mexico was due to the ongoing World Cup.
Reacting to Reno’s statement, Davido made a now-viral post on social media, writing: “Umu Bingo @renoomokri fowl.”
In response, Reno described Davido’s comment as feedback but said he was surprised by the insult.
Sharing screenshots of the post on his Instagram page, Reno said Davido was likely upset because he had previously criticized him for wearing a customized jacket bearing the names of abducted Oyo schoolchildren while performing at the World Cup.
Reno wrote:
“Dear Mr. David Adeleke AKA Davido, thank you for your feedback. I was rather surprised by your response to my post. Most shocking is your insult.
“You are an international celebrity whom Nigeria is proud of. Coming to insult me on my Instagram profile with such vulgar words should be beneath you.
“Yes, I’m aware that you were upset at my appeal to you not to use an international platform, such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to give publicity to bandits and terrorists. I am also aware that Peter Obi praised you for doing that, which may have made you feel compelled to defend him.
“I did that because while your intention may be good and you think you are pressuring the government, the actual effect of what you did is to give publicity to the terrorists and help them spread fear, recruit new members, and raise funds.
“Meanwhile, IShowSpeed, an American, at that same event used the global stage of the World Cup to market Nigeria by wearing the jersey and speaking well about Nigeria.”
Reno maintained that his criticism was based on concerns about the international image of Nigeria and the unintended consequences of drawing global attention to insecurity issues during a major international event.

I Have No Plan Of Getting Married – Singer Bloody Civilian
Nigerian singer Bloody Civilian has revealed that she currently has no plans of getting married.
The singer, whose real name is Emoseh Khamofu, said her career as an artiste has changed the way she views some of the traditional values she was raised with.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Not Just On podcast, the Taraba-born star explained that some of the expectations her family has for her no longer align with her personal goals and interests.
According to the 26-year-old singer, marriage is one of the issues her family frequently raises, even though it is not something she is considering.
She said, “One thing my family still does not understand about being an artiste is the fact that certain conventional things that they expect of a woman from the North are just simply not things that I am excited to do.
“For instance, marriage is not something that I am thinking of at all. But that question keeps being brought up.”
Bloody Civilian noted that her family continues to pressure her about marriage without fully understanding that it is not a priority for her at this stage of her life.
