‘I Faced Constant Spiritual Warfare In Music Industry’ – Nicki Minaj Opens Up

Popular American rapper Nicki Minaj has opened up about the challenges she has faced in the music industry, claiming that powerful figures often work behind the scenes to control artists.

According to Minaj, some influential individuals in the industry can make talented musicians “almost invisible” if they refuse to follow their rules.

She alleged that many of the difficulties faced by her and other talented artists are orchestrated by these powerful figures, although she did not mention any names.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford podcast, the rapper claimed that some people in the industry view artists as properties whose main purpose is to generate money for them.

She also alleged that artists who refuse to cooperate with such individuals often face sabotage.

Minaj said she has personally experienced what she described as “constant spiritual warfare” throughout her career because she refused to play by their rules.

The rapper explained that if she had known earlier how spiritually challenging the music industry could be, she would have been better prepared.

“It was constant spiritual warfare. I wish I kind of knew sooner that this music industry was such a spiritual experience because I felt like I brought a knife to a gunfight,” she said.
