Big Brother Naija reality star and entertainer, Whitemoney, has shared his opinion on the realities of dating or marrying celebrities, saying such relationships require a level of understanding beyond what is expected in ordinary relationships.

Speaking in a viral video circulating on social media, the former BBNaija winner advised anyone hoping to date a celebrity to prepare for the unique challenges that come with fame and public attention.

According to Whitemoney, celebrities live under constant public scrutiny, making it necessary for their partners to develop emotional resilience and think differently.

He said, “So if you ever get to a point in your life as an individual, whether you’re a man or you’re a woman, and you’d be like, hmm, I would love to date this celebrity. I want to marry a celebrity. I want to have a thing to do with a celebrity.

“Know this and know peace, you cannot be normal. Celebrities are not created for normal people. See, when you’re dating an influential person or you’re getting married to an influential person, whether it’s in a movie, music, whatever scenery this person got the pleasure from, social media presence, you cannot be thinking like a regular person.

“Your thoughts, your emotions can’t be that of a regular person. You go ready, you go prepare if you ever want to date a celebrity, whether it’s a male or a female. I’m just saying, I’m just saying.”
