“Dem Say You Dey Game” — Davido Taunts MC Oluomo After Osun NURTW Ban
Afrobeats star Davido has taken a swipe at the National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, over his rejection of the Osun State government’s ban on the union’s activities.
The controversy began after Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke announced the suspension of NURTW operations in the state ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
According to the governor, the decision was aimed at restoring order in motor parks and stopping the collection of illegal levies.
However, MC Oluomo rejected the directive, insisting that the governor has no authority over the activities of the NURTW.
Reacting on X, Davido mocked MC Oluomo’s comments, writing:
“MC Oluomo wey no fit compose sentence dey talk.. Kudosuuuu.”
The post sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many users debating Davido’s comments.
In another post shared on his Instagram Story on Monday, Davido questioned MC Oluomo over his alleged involvement in political thuggery in Osun State.
Tagging him, the singer wrote:
“@kingmcoluomo dem say u Dey game. I doubt lol look ur mirror.”
Davido has been actively involved in his uncle Governor Ademola Adeleke’s political campaign and was appointed as the youth campaign leader for Adeleke’s re-election bid in April.
