Nobody Can Stop My Oga From Visiting Edo – Israel DMW Fumes Over Okpebholo’s Ban On Davido

Israel DMW, logistics manager to Nigerian singer Davido, has rejected the reported ban on the singer from performing in Edo State.

Israel made his position known while reacting to a directive reportedly issued by the Edo State Government following Davido’s recent online disagreement with Governor Monday Okpebholo.

It was reported that Apostle Kassy Chukwu, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Digital Media, announced in a video on Friday that Davido had been banned from performing in Edo State.

The announcement was linked to the singer’s exchange with Okpebholo during the Osun State governorship election.

Reacting to the development, Israel, who is from Edo State, insisted that Davido could not be prevented from visiting or performing in the state.

He also pointed out that Davido’s mother is from Edo State.

Israel went further to criticise Kassy Chukwu, claiming that he is originally from Ebonyi State and accusing him of interfering in Edo affairs.

Sharing a picture of the governor’s aide on Instagram, Israel wrote:

“HE’S FROM EBONYI STATE, AND NOT FROM EDO. 100% A REAL SETTLER, WHO HAS BECOME A COMPLETE NUISANCE IN BENIN CITY. AN APC FAKE PASTOR, A CUM PASTOR. A BEER PALOUR PASTOR.

“KINDLY DISREGARD WHAT HE’S SAYING. HE’S NOT SPEAKING FOR WE EDOLITES. NO MAN ON THIS PLANET EARTH, CAN BAN OGA FROM EDO, HIS MATERNAL HOME. IDIOT OF A PASTOR.”

Israel’s comments come amid the growing disagreement between Davido and the Edo State Government.
