EPL: Chelsea Will Never Win League – Carragher Predicts Title Winners, Teams To Finish Top-Four

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season.

Carragher also predicted Manchester City to finish second, while Chelsea and Liverpool will complete the top four.

The former England defender gave his predictions on Sky Sports after Chelsea defeated Fulham on Monday.

Carragher explained that he does not expect Manchester City to win the league without Rodri, who left the club for Barcelona this summer.

“I just can’t see Manchester City winning the Premier League this season without Rodri.

“Having said that, Man City are a better team than Chelsea. Not playing in Europe could be a factor and play a huge part for Chelsea and give them a big lift; we have seen that before with other teams.

“But I would just go for Man City right now [to finish second behind Arsenal].

“Chelsea will never win the league with Sanchez in goal. It’s impossible,” he added.

Carragher believes Arsenal are currently the strongest candidates to win the Premier League, while Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are his picks to join them in the top four.
