Anita Joseph Blasts Angela Okorie Over AI Photo Controversy
Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has fired back at her colleague, Angela Okorie, following criticism over the AI-edited photo controversy involving social media influencer Caramel Plug.
The dispute began after Caramel Plug accused Anita Joseph of using her photo and replacing the original face with Anita’s through artificial intelligence.
Anita later apologized for the incident, explaining that it was an AI mistake and insisting she never intended to cause harm.
Reacting to the apology, Angela Okorie criticized Anita on Instagram, saying celebrities should not use other people’s photos or styles without acknowledging them.
She argued that public figures should set better examples and condemned the act of replacing someone’s face with another using AI.
Angela also described Anita as “a very bad person” and insisted that people should not defend wrongdoing simply because the person involved is their friend.
Responding to the criticism, Anita launched a scathing attack on Angela, accusing her of being obsessed with her and warning her not to mention her again.
The actress also referred to Angela as an ex-convict and claimed her godmother once helped secure Angela’s release from prison.
Anita further alleged that Angela should focus on taking care of her mother instead of criticizing others.
She wrote:
“Angela Okorie, till you take care of your mum in the village, then the gods of your land might forgive you. Your sickness is back. You have started again.
“My god-mum helped you out of prison the last time; this time, you will live there. Remember nobody came to rescue you.
“Angela, ex-convict. Don’t come for me again. Are you obsessed with me? I will arrest you again. I don’t dey hear sorry.
“Who gave you new drugs? You are out of your cage. I will arrest you, and you won’t come out. No one is coming to save you. I know how you begged my god mum to help you. She said I should forgive you, but I refused because I knew you would start again.”
