Atiku appoints El-Rufai into campaign council

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has appointed Malam Nasir El-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna State into his Campaign Council.

Atiku, Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) announced this in a statement on Thursday.

Daily Trust reports that El-Rufai is currently in custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other offences related Commission (ICPC).

He is facing multiple charges by the Federal and Kaduna State government.

The former governor has been in detention since February.
