Bauchi Assembly PDP Caucus faults terrorism financing allegation against Bala Mohammed

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caucus in the Bauchi State House of Assembly(BAHA) has vehemently condemned the terrorism financing allegation leveled against the State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, describing it as baseless and unsupported by facts.

The caucus, led by the Speaker of the House, Dr. Abubakar Y. Sulaiman on Thursday, stated that the allegation lacked credible evidence and should be disregarded by the public.

According to the lawmakers, the claim is a deliberate attempt to tarnish the image of  governor Bala Mohammed and distract from his administration’s ongoing developmental efforts.

Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman reaffirmed the caucus’ total confidence in Governor Bala Mohammed’s leadership, stressing that the governor has consistently demonstrated commitment to peace, security, and good governance in Bauchi State.

The PDP lawmakers further declared their full and unwavering support for the governor, pledging to continue providing the necessary legislative backing to ensure the successful implementation of policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of the people of the state.

They called on residents of Bauchi State to remain calm and focused, urging them not to be misled by what they described as unfounded allegations.
