BBNaija Announces Premiere Date For Season 11, Increases Grand Prize To ₦160 Million
The organizers of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) have officially announced that the 2026 edition of the reality television show will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The announcement was made during a press briefing on Wednesday, where organizers also revealed that the winner of Season 11 will take home a grand prize of ₦160 million.
The ₦160 million prize is the largest grand prize in the history of the BBNaija franchise, surpassing the rewards offered in previous editions of the show.
Earlier this year, the organizers conducted physical auditions in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu between May 22 and May 24, 2026, giving aspiring contestants the opportunity to compete for a place in the new season.
The auditions were free and open to Nigerians aged 21 years and above who possessed valid means of identification.
With the premiere date now confirmed, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of one of Africa’s biggest reality television shows, which is expected to feature a new set of housemates competing for the record-breaking ₦160 million prize.
