Nigerian comedians and content creators, Broda Mike and Mario Wazobia, have called for the arrest of a Ratel member known as Veryblackman over alleged threats made against comedian DeeOne.

The calls followed a viral Instagram video in which Veryblackman allegedly threatened to attack DeeOne if they crossed paths.

In the now-deleted video, Veryblackman reportedly said he would either assault or kill the comedian and was prepared to face the consequences.

The video quickly gained attention online, prompting reactions from several Nigerians, including Broda Mike and Mario Wazobia, who described the comments as a serious threat to life.

Reacting in an Instagram video, Mario Wazobia urged DeeOne not to ignore the statements.

He Said: “You And DeeOne No Get Anything To Do With Each Other. He Doesn’t Talk About Your Mother Or Father. You Just Came On Camera Threatening His Life. DeeOne Should Not Take Public Threats Lightly. This Is The Reflection Of Who VDM Is.”

In a separate video, Broda Mike also advised DeeOne to involve law enforcement.

He Said: “For Days Now, This Guy Has Been Threatening You. He Said He Would Kill You If He Sees You Anywhere. The Meaning Of That Is Death. DeeOne, Get This Boy Arrested. He Has Threatened Your Life.”

The controversy comes amid ongoing tensions between DeeOne and supporters of social media activist VeryDarkMan. While DeeOne is known for criticizing VeryDarkMan and the Ratel movement, Veryblackman is regarded as one of VeryDarkMan’s associates.

As of the time of filing this report, neither DeeOne nor law enforcement authorities had publicly announced any legal action regarding the matter.

Nigerian influencer and actress Amarachi Amusi, popularly known as Ashmusy, has spoken candidly about the pressure she faced after turning 30 without getting married or having children.

Speaking on the BBC Africa podcast The Conversation, Ashmusy revealed that she always believed she would be married with children before reaching the age of 30 because she had many admirers while growing up.

According to her, becoming a mother has always been one of her biggest dreams, and during her younger years, she expected family life to come naturally before hitting 30.

The content creator explained that the pressure was intensified by her position as the first daughter in her family, with relatives and society expecting her to settle down early.

Despite receiving attention from numerous suitors over the years, Ashmusy said witnessing the collapse of many relationships made her more cautious about choosing a life partner.

She noted that she now prioritizes peace of mind and emotional stability over meeting societal expectations.

Ashmusy also addressed her decision to freeze her eggs, saying it allows her to make decisions about marriage and motherhood without feeling pressured by age.

“I always thought I would be married with children before I turned 30 because I had so many suitors while growing up. Becoming a mother has always been one of my biggest life goals. As the first daughter in my family, there was a lot of pressure from relatives who expected me to settle down early.

“Seeing so many relationships fail made me more careful about choosing the person I want to spend my life with. At this stage of my life, I value peace of mind and emotional stability more than trying to meet society’s expectations.

“Freezing my eggs gives me the freedom to make decisions about marriage and motherhood without feeling pressured by my age. My decision does not mean I am against marriage. I simply want to make the right choice at the right time,” she said.

Peller Needs Investment, Not Marriage – Broda Mike Reacts To TikToker’s Union With Jarvis

Nigerian content creator and actor, Broda Mike, has reacted to the recent traditional marriage between popular TikToker Peller and his partner, Jarvis Jadrolita.

Peller, 21, traditionally tied the knot with Jarvis, 25, on Saturday ahead of their planned white wedding ceremony.

Reacting in a video shared on his Instagram page, Broda Mike argued that Peller is still too young for marriage and should focus more on building his future through investments.

According to him, the TikToker may have rushed into marriage because of the financial success he recently achieved through social media.

He Said: “Justice For Peller, Tell Yourself The Truth. If Peller Was Your Brother, Would You Allow Him Rush Into Marriage? Peller Only Needs Investment Now, Not Marriage, Because This Generation Has Gender Problems. Marriage Hardly Works.

“Peller, Open Your Eyes. You Only Need Investment, Not Marriage. You’re Too Young For Marriage.

“A Small Boy Who Just Started A Business Will Say The Business Is Sweet Because He Has Never Experienced Failure Or Downturn. Peller Is Too Young For This Marriage. The Girl Is Older Than Peller, But What Money Cannot Do Does Not Exist.

“Anyway, Congratulations. I Pray It Works Out. It Really Surprised Me.”

Despite his reservations, Broda Mike congratulated the couple and expressed hope that their marriage would be successful.
