Brymo Accuses 2Face, Burna Boy, Davido Of Knowing About Alleged Cult Recruitment

Nigerian singer Brymo has accused fellow musicians 2Face, Burna Boy and Davido of knowing about an alleged incident in which he claims he was lured and pressured to join a secret cult.

Brymo made the allegation during a recent interview on the Lahor Talk podcast, while explaining the reason behind his long-standing dispute with the three artistes.

The singer said the incident allegedly occurred in 2019 when he was invited to Chevron under the impression that he was going to be hosted.

According to Brymo, he was allegedly attacked after arriving and later pressured to join a cult. He claimed that the names of 2Face, Davido and Burna Boy were mentioned by the people who were pressuring him.

Brymo said he does not want an apology from Burna Boy over his recent comments about his career. Instead, he challenged the three artistes to publicly deny any involvement in the alleged incident.

He said:

“Which forgiveness? I don’t have forgiveness on Burna Boy, 2Face or Davido. I want them to tell me that they truly don’t know about wetin happened to me for Chevron or not.

“When I got attacked. When I was lured into being hosted. Only to be told that I need to join cult. And they mentioned their names. Why are they still quiet about it since all these years if you’re not involved?

“This year 2026 is the 7th anniversary of the incident. It happened in 2019. I’m not asking for an apology. Just be a man and say, ‘Brymo, I have nothing to do with it.’ That’s what they have to say because as long as they don’t say that, they did it.

“I will keep saying it till it destroys your legacy completely. You will speak up. I’m not asking for any apology.”

Brymo’s comments come weeks after Burna Boy referenced him in a diss track, saying: “Hustle make you no go fall off like Brymo.”

Brymo subsequently responded to Burna Boy, saying he did not care about the fraternity the singer belonged to and vowing to seek revenge.

The latest allegations are claims made by Brymo, and the report does not include responses from 2Face, Burna Boy or Davido addressing the accusations.
