‘Burna Boy begged Davido for space on his jet’ — Skales

Nigerian singer Skales has recounted how Burna Boy allegedly asked Davido for a space on his private jet during a trip to Yola for a music performance.

Skales shared the experience while discussing a show where he and Burna Boy were scheduled to perform in the city.

According to him, Burna Boy contacted Davido to ask if he could travel with his team, and the singer agreed to accommodate him.

However, the aircraft was already full, forcing Davido to reportedly ask one of his team members to travel the following day to create space for the additional passenger.

Recalling the unusual flight, Skales said there was so little room that someone had to sit on the toilet seat. He also revealed that Davido gave up his own seat for him during the journey.

“Burna called Davido and said, ‘Please, can I join their jet?’ Davido said, ‘Why not?’” Skales recalled.

Skales added that after arriving in Yola, he performed alongside Burna Boy. He said the experience eventually connected him to Major Lazer, with whom he later collaborated on music.
