Burna Boy Names Jay Jay Okocha As His Greatest Footballer Of All Time

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has shared his favourite football stars, revealing that he does not consider Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi as his greatest player of all time.

Speaking during a recent interview with ESPN, the singer said former Nigerian international Jay Jay Okocha holds the top spot in his rankings.

When asked to name the greatest footballer ever, Burna Boy said it was a choice between Okocha and Brazilian legend Pele.

“I will say Jay Jay Okocha. It is between him and Pele. I am not doing that Ronaldo or Messi stuff,” he said.

Burna Boy also named England captain Harry Kane as his favourite striker of all time.

The singer revealed that Manchester United is the football club he supports.

He also described Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal as the best young player in the world and named Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo as his favourite player at the club.
