Burna Boy’s Mother Urges Singer to Get Married and Have Children
Nigerian singer Burna Boy has received some personal advice from his mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, during his 35th birthday celebration.
At a private birthday gathering with family and close friends on July 2, Burna Boy was asked to make a birthday wish.
According to a video shared on Snapchat by one of the singer’s associates, Richie 7, Burna Boy wished for good health and prosperity.
He said:
“I wish for good health and prosperity.”
His mother then encouraged him to add another wish.
“Add good wife and children.”
The light-hearted exchange has attracted reactions from fans on social media.
Burna Boy had previously explained why he remains unmarried and does not have children, saying he does not currently have the time to fully commit to family life.
The singer said he does not want to have children outside marriage or become a father without being actively present in their lives because of the demands of his music career.
