Carabao Cup: 5 Teams Qualify For Fourth Round

Five teams have secured their places in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup following the completion of Tuesday night’s third-round fixtures.

Arsenal booked their spot after defeating Ipswich Town 4-2 at Portman Road in an entertaining encounter.

Max Dowman was the standout player for Arsenal, scoring twice on his first appearance of the season, while Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino also found the net.

Ipswich Town managed two goals through Mehmeti and Chuba Akpom, but their efforts were not enough to prevent Arsenal from progressing.

Liverpool also advanced after beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-1, with Dominik Szoboszlai scoring a stunning goal to help secure the victory.

Fulham joined them after edging West Ham 3-2, while Brentford defeated Reading 2-1 to claim another fourth-round place.

Peterborough completed the list after eliminating Barnsley on penalties following a 2-2 draw, taking the number of teams through to the fourth round to five.
