Davido Offered Me ₦50 Million To Campaign For His Uncle, But I Rejected It — VeryDarkMan Alleges

Controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has claimed that he once turned down an offer of ₦50 million connected to a meeting with Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is the uncle of Nigerian music star Davido.

Speaking amid rumors of a fallout between him and Davido, VeryDarkMan said many people criticizing him online do not know the full story behind their relationship.

According to him, he rejected the alleged offer despite the huge amount involved because of his personal principles.

He said:

“I know this one will shock many people because some of you have been pushing a different narrative. People keep saying, ‘VeryDarkMan, after everything Davido did for you?’

“As a matter of fact, when they called me to meet his uncle, the governor, they said I could get about ₦50 million. Do you know what ₦50 million means? I rejected it. Ask them. The comment section is open. What many people don’t know is bigger than what they think they know.”

VeryDarkMan also addressed his last conversation with Davido, revealing that it was related to a $5,000 donation the singer had allegedly promised to a young man in Ghana.

He explained that many people began attacking him online when the money was not paid immediately, with some accusing him and Davido of using the situation for publicity.

According to him, he later sent Davido a direct message to remind him about the pledge.

He said:

“The last time Davido and I spoke was because of that Ghanaian boy he promised to give $5,000. I think he forgot about it.

“People were insulting me online because they believed the promise had already been fulfilled. I didn’t know whether he forgot or was just busy, so I sent him a message and told him to sort it out quickly because people were dragging me.

“After that reminder, the boy got paid. Anyone in 30BG can confirm it.”

His comments have generated reactions on social media, with many users debating his claims and discussing his relationship with Davido.
