EPL: 4 fixtures we could see shock results this weekend
The Premier League’s 10th matchday began on Friday following the midweek Champions League fixtures, with several matches scheduled to take place across England on Saturday and Sunday.
Everton opened the weekend with a 3-1 home victory over Coventry City on Friday night. Thierno Barry and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall were among the goalscorers.
With more fixtures to come, four matches could produce unexpected results, despite the favourites being expected to secure victories.
1. Nottingham Forest vs Man City
Manchester City are second in the Premier League table and have suffered just two defeats this season. Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, have managed only one league victory from their opening nine matches. However, Forest could use their home advantage to secure a point or even all three against Enzo Maresca’s side.
2. Sunderland vs Chelsea
Chelsea have won five of their seven Premier League matches and currently occupy fourth position. They are expected to overcome Sunderland, who sit bottom of the table in 20th place. However, Sunderland could take advantage of playing at home at the Stadium of Light to cause an upset.
3. Arsenal vs Hull
Arsenal are overwhelming favourites to win at the Emirates Stadium against Hull, who are 11th after nine league matches. Nevertheless, the visitors will hope to build on their previous result against Ipswich Town and produce another positive performance against the Gunners.

4. Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
Liverpool are favourites to beat Crystal Palace, although they head into the match after losing their previous game against Arsenal. Palace also suffered defeat in their last outing against Tottenham Hotspur and remain in the relegation zone. However, the home side will be determined to avoid another loss and could surprise Liverpool by securing a draw or claiming all three points.
