EPL: Gary Neville Predicts Scoreline Of Man Utd vs Man City

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has predicted a 2-1 victory for his former club against Manchester City in Sunday’s Premier League derby.

United will host City at Old Trafford on Sunday evening, with both teams looking to secure an important result.

Speaking on The Overlap, Neville backed Michael Carrick’s side to defeat the league leaders despite City’s perfect start to the season.

“If I look at Sunday, it’s a new City and a few of them won’t have gone there [to Old Trafford],” Neville said.

“I think United are going to win, but if you asked what the score is going to be, I would say 2-1 to United.”

City currently lead the Premier League table with nine points from three matches, while United sit 11th after their opening games.

Neville’s prediction means he expects United to produce a strong performance at Old Trafford and hand City their first defeat of the season.
