EPL: SuperComputer Predicts Title Winners, Top Six As 2026/2027 Season Begins
The Opta Supercomputer has released its predictions for the 2026/27 Premier League season as the new campaign gets underway.
Arsenal are the defending champions after finishing seven points ahead of Manchester City last season. Manchester United and Aston Villa also finished in the top four.
According to the Opta Supercomputer’s simulations, Arsenal have a 38.0% chance of winning the Premier League title again this season.
Manchester City are given a 20.5% chance, while Liverpool have a 9.2% chance of becoming champions.
Manchester United have been given a 6.2% chance, with Aston Villa at 4.8% and Chelsea at 4.1%.
The six clubs are therefore the teams highlighted by the prediction for the leading positions in the new campaign.
Arsenal will begin their title defence on Friday night when they welcome Coventry City to the Emirates Stadium.
