EPL Table: Arsenal Go Joint Top With Man City After Narrow Win Over Leeds
Arsenal have moved level on points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table after coming from behind to defeat Leeds United 2-1 on Saturday.
The Gunners entered the match looking to respond to their disappointing 3-0 defeat to Brighton before the international break.
However, Arsenal struggled to break down Leeds’ defence in the first half, with Daniel Farke’s side keeping the hosts at bay.
Leeds took the lead after the break at the Emirates Stadium, with James Justin finishing off an impressive team move to put the visitors ahead.
Arsenal responded strongly, fighting back to secure all three points through goals from Riccardo Calafiori and Bruno Guimaraes.
The victory takes Arsenal to 15 points in the Premier League standings, putting them level with Manchester City.
