EPL: They Created Chances – Alonso Hails 3 Chelsea Players After Fulham Win

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has praised three of his attacking players following the team’s 3-2 Premier League victory over Fulham on Monday.

Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers all scored as Chelsea secured an important away win against their London rivals.

Speaking after the match, Alonso praised the trio for their performances and their ability to create chances throughout the game.

“Today, I am happy that all three scored. I really enjoyed his [Cole Palmer] performance,” Alonso told Sky Sports.

“He played with responsibility and maturity, but also with freedom. The three strikers were combining well and creating chances,” he added.

Alonso was particularly pleased with the way Pedro, Palmer and Rogers worked together in attack and caused problems for the Fulham defence.

The victory means Chelsea currently sit sixth in the Premier League table with three points from their opening game.

Chelsea will now turn their attention to the EFL Cup, where they face Luton Town on Thursday.
