EPL: ‘They’ve Clear Idea’ – Alonso Predicts Chelsea vs Bournemouth Clash

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has predicted a tough encounter ahead of his side’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Alonso warned that the match would be intense, fast-paced and physically demanding.

The Spaniard acknowledged Bournemouth’s tactical organisation under their current manager, highlighting the clear approach they bring to matches.

“It will be a tough test,” Alonso said when discussing Chelsea’s upcoming fixture.

“It will be so intense, a high-tempo game and very demanding. They have a clear idea of what they do with Marco and previously with Andoni [Iraola],” he added.

Chelsea head into the encounter sitting 10th in the Premier League table, while Bournemouth occupy 17th position.
