Family Debunks Reports Of Actor Ogogo’s Death Amid Cancer Battle

The family of veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has debunked reports claiming that the actor has died.

Ogogo’s daughter, Haleemah Taiwo, dismissed the reports in a post on her Instagram page, urging members of the public to stop circulating unverified information about her father.

“This is fake. Please stop spreading fake news,” she wrote.

The clarification comes less than 24 hours after another of Ogogo’s daughters, Shaki Taiwo, appealed to the public for help following the actor’s reported battle with stage 4 cancer.

Shaki had revealed that the hospital treating her father had stopped his chemotherapy because of the seriousness of his condition.

She appealed to anyone with access to advanced medical treatment or other forms of assistance to come to the actor’s aid.

The family has now confirmed that, despite the reports circulating online, Ogogo is still alive.
