‘I Almost Ran Mad After My Ex-Husband Left Me’ – Nollywood Actress, Biola Fowoshere

Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress Biola Fowoshere has opened up about the emotional pain she endured after her ex-husband allegedly abandoned her and their children.

Speaking during an interview on African A List, the actress said she still wonders why her former husband left the family despite, according to her, not doing anything wrong during their marriage.

Biola became emotional during the interview, saying her ex-husband is the one person she would like to question about his decision to leave.

She said:

“The only person I’d really want to ask a question is my ex-husband. I’d really like to ask him what I did wrong because I did nothing before he left me and the kids. I want to ask what my children and I did to deserve what he did to us.”

The actress also revealed that she battled severe depression after the separation and spent one year and six months in the hospital while trying to recover.

According to her, the emotional trauma nearly cost her her mental health.

She added:

“I spent one year and six months in the hospital battling depression after he left. I almost ran mad. We are not in contact. Since he left, we haven’t seen him. He blocked us seven years ago.”

Biola said she and her children have had no contact with her ex-husband since he left the family seven years ago.
