Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has said she has reached a stage in her career where she no longer feels the need to seek approval or acceptance from others in the entertainment industry.
Speaking in an interview with Morayo Afolabi Brown, the actress said years of hard work, dedication, and consistency have given her the freedom to choose the projects and people she wants to work with.
According to Toyin, she now focuses on opportunities that align with her values and creative vision.
She explained that being selective is not a sign of pride but a reflection of how far she has come in her career and the blessings she has received.
The actress also said she prefers working with people who appreciate her talent and respect her creative direction.
She said, “I can’t kiss anybody’s ass anymore because God has blessed me with a platform where I can decide who I want to work with. No more begging for acceptance.”
