I Know That Feeling – Ronaldo Sends Message To PSG’s Kvaratskhelia
Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message of support to Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following the Georgian international’s serious knee injury.
PSG confirmed on Wednesday that Kvaratskhelia sustained the injury during their 4-2 victory over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old winger is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days and will be sidelined for several months, dealing a significant blow to the French champions.
Following the announcement, Kvaratskhelia took to Instagram to express his disappointment over the injury, which will keep him away from competitive football during his recovery.
Ronaldo responded to the winger’s post with an encouraging message, drawing on his own experience of dealing with difficult moments in football.
“The toughest battles in football are often the ones nobody sees. I know that feeling, Kvara. Keep that fire on. Your best is still to come,” the Portuguese superstar wrote.
The message highlighted Ronaldo’s support for the PSG forward as he prepares for surgery and the lengthy rehabilitation process ahead.
