“I Ran” – Ola Of Lagos Reveals Popular Figure Who Gave Him His First ₦2M

Nigerian luxury influencer, Ola of Lagos, has revealed that popular social media influencer Tunde Ednut gave him his first ₦2 million during a livestream in 2021.

Ola of Lagos made the disclosure during a recent interview with the KK Show, where he recalled how he reacted after seeing millions of naira in his bank account for the first time.

According to the influencer, receiving the money was an overwhelming experience, and he ended up fleeing his house because he was not used to having such a large amount in his account.

He revealed that he later hired bouncers the following day because of the huge amount of money in his bank account.

“First time seeing that money. But guess what? I didn’t squander all the money,” he said.

Ola of Lagos, whose real name is Waris Olayinka Akinwande Osunkoya, rose from humble beginnings to become a prominent luxury influencer in Nigeria.

Originally from Ogun State, he moved to Lagos, where he worked as a labourer and later as a cleaner in Ikoyi and Lekki, earning as little as ₦17,000 monthly.

He began filming exotic cars with his small phone and posting energetic, slang-filled reviews on Instagram.

His consistency and distinctive style eventually caught the attention of Tunde Ednut, who reposted his videos and helped expose him to a wider audience.
