“If You Allow Osuofia, He Will Talk From Now Till Tomorrow” — Producer Mr Martins Onyemobi On Nkem Owoh
Nollywood producer Mr Martins Onyebuchi Onyemobi has spoken about his experience working with veteran actor Nkem Owoh, popularly known as Osuofia, describing him as an actor who gives his all once he accepts a role.
Onyemobi said the key to getting the best out of Owoh is knowing how to control his improvisational energy while allowing him to bring his creativity to a character.
He said:
“If you give Osuofia a movie script, all you need to do is control him. When you control him, you will get the best out of him. But if you allow him, he will talk from now till tomorrow.
“Once he agrees to do the job, he will give you everything he has. If the movie is supposed to be Part 1 and Part 2, Osuofia will end up giving you Part 1 all the way to Part 7.”
