“I’m Watching Their Performance” – Churchill Reacts After Father’s Day Snub From Rosy Meurer And Tonto Dikeh
Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill has shared a cryptic message on social media following his apparent snub by both his wife, Rosy Meurer, and ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, during the 2026 Father’s Day celebration.
Father’s Day, observed every third Sunday in June, was celebrated on June 21, with many celebrities taking to social media to appreciate their fathers, husbands, and father figures. However, fans noticed that neither Rosy Meurer nor Tonto Dikeh publicly acknowledged Churchill on the occasion.
Despite the silence, Churchill celebrated himself by sharing a photo and offering prayers for all his children.
The development quickly sparked conversations online, especially amid ongoing rumours of a marital crisis between Churchill and Rosy Meurer, as well as Churchill’s recent reconciliation with Tonto Dikeh.
Reacting through a post on his Instagram page, Churchill appeared to address the situation indirectly with a message many interpreted as a response to the snub.
“Smart people know when to play dumb. I know who is fake, I just enjoy watching their performance.”
His statement has generated mixed reactions on social media, with followers debating whether the post was directed at people in his personal life.
The latest development comes months after Churchill himself sparked reactions on Mother’s Day in March 2026 when he reportedly celebrated only his mother, while making no public mention of either Rosy Meurer or Tonto Dikeh.

Loneliness Made Me Consider Suicide — Actress Rashidat Anjorin Opens Up About Depression
Nollywood actress and filmmaker Rashidat Anjorin, popularly known as Indomie, has opened up about one of the darkest periods of her life, revealing that loneliness pushed her into severe depression and thoughts of suicide.
Speaking during an interview on the Talk to B Podcast, the actress said prolonged isolation took a heavy toll on her mental health, leaving her emotionally overwhelmed and struggling to cope.
According to Anjorin, there was a time she disappeared for three days because she was battling depression and contemplating ending her life.
She said:
“Being alone is a disease except for those who don’t know. I was so depressed that for three days I was missing and nowhere to be found. I wanted to end it all.”
The actress disclosed that her desperate search for companionship led her to make a romantic move toward a man for the first time in her life.
She explained:
“I made a move towards a man, something I had never done before. My shop is down there. I do hair and pedicures. I didn’t know what to say. I think the guy suspected that I wanted to have sex with him.”
Reflecting on her experiences, Anjorin stressed the importance of having supportive people in one’s life, noting that companionship goes beyond financial benefits.
She said:
“When someone dies, it takes six people to carry the coffin. If those six people are in your life to support your progress, then you understand why companionship matters. Everything is not about money.”
The filmmaker also recalled some of the hardships she faced before finding stability, including an incident where she was detained by police despite being the victim of theft.
According to her:
“It was my money they stole, and it was me that was kept in the cell.”
Anjorin expressed gratitude to several colleagues who stood by her during difficult times, especially actress and producer Funke Akindele.
She revealed that Funke Akindele provided financial support that helped her restart her business.
In her words:
“Aunty Funke gave me money to go and buy those things. I went to Abeokuta to get my pots, and I started making sales. Once I start cooking the noodles, everyone will start buying.”
She also thanked Taiwo Adebayo, Sodiq Adebayo, and Blackman for their support, saying they played significant roles in helping her career and contributing to her success in the movie industry.

Actor Akin Olaiya’s New Wife Accuses Him Of Domestic Violence
Nollywood actor Akin Olaiya has been accused of domestic violence by his estranged wife, Nafisat.
Nafisat made the allegation while confirming the collapse of their marriage in a viral video on Wednesday.
Her reaction came days after a statement attributed to Akin Olaiya surfaced online, announcing the end of their marriage. In the statement, the actor reportedly claimed that Nafisat left their matrimonial home without his knowledge and refused to return despite efforts to reconcile.
Responding to the claim, Nafisat said she left the marriage because of alleged violence and mistreatment.
She said:
“Last few months, I left my marriage because I’m in pain, I’m mistreated. I feel like I did not matter. And nobody is going to stay in a marital home that goes with violence.”
Confirming that they had been separated for a long time, she added:
“All the things that they’re talking on social media about the divorce letter, yeah for real, me and my husband are not together anymore for like a long time ago, since last year.”
Addressing those questioning her decision to leave, Nafisat stated:
“For those of you saying how can the wife just pack and leave when she’s not mad? When there’s violence and something is really going on that you don’t really know about.”
She further explained that she had expected maturity and understanding from the actor because of the age difference between them.
According to her:
“I’m expecting a lot from my ex-husband when I was with him because he’s older than me. The age gap is much. Yet everything was going down.”
Although she declined to reveal the full details of the issues in the marriage, she insisted that there were reasons behind her departure.
She said:
“I can never come out to disclose the main issues in my marriage with him. That is what I can never do on social media. But what I’m trying to let you know is that it does not make sense for him to say she just packed her things and left without any issues. It can’t be possible.”
The couple’s wedding in July 2025 had previously attracted attention online after many social media users observed that the bride appeared unusually serious during the ceremony while the actor danced excitedly.
The marriage reportedly ended less than five months after the wedding. Reports also indicate that Akin Olaiya’s previous marriage ended amid allegations of violence and infidelity.
As of the time of this report, Akin Olaiya has not publicly responded to Nafisat’s latest allegations.
