Lady Alleges Reekado Banks’ Management Failed To Honour Promise

A Nigerian lady has publicly accused the management of popular singer Reekado Banks of failing to fulfil a compensation promise allegedly made to her after she joined the artiste on stage during a performance.

In a video circulating online, the lady recounted how she danced with Reekado Banks on stage and was preparing to leave when a member of the singer’s management team approached her.

According to her, the manager told her that she would receive compensation for participating in the performance, even though she had not requested or expected any payment.

She said the manager exchanged contact details with her, after which she sent a message introducing herself. However, she alleged that she received no further response.

The lady further claimed that a few days later, another person who identified himself as a member of Reekado Banks’ team contacted her to ask whether she had received the promised compensation.

She said she contacted the initial manager to confirm the identity of the person who reached out to her. The manager reportedly requested a screenshot of their conversation, which she provided, but she alleged that her message was subsequently left unanswered despite another follow-up days later.

Expressing her disappointment, she said the issue was not about the money but about the promise being honoured. “It’s not even about the money. If they had not offered compensation, I wouldn’t have expected anything. But once a promise is made, it should be honoured and properly communicated.” As of the time of filing the report, Reekado Banks and his management team had not publicly responded to the allegation.
