Lagos Is More Expensive Than The US – Singer BNXN Says After Relocating
Nigerian singer Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has claimed that Lagos is more expensive than the United States.
The singer, who revealed that he has now relocated to the US, said living there feels easier in some ways compared to Lagos, especially when it comes to daily expenses and street pressures.
Speaking during a recent livestream on TikTok, BNXN said that unlike Lagos, people in the US do not constantly demand money from him on the streets.
He said, “I was telling someone, since I got to the United States, nobody has asked me to give them money. And people are also suffering here.”
He added that Lagos is extremely expensive, even more costly than Los Angeles in some respects.
BNXN said, “Lagos is super expensive. It is more expensive than Los Angeles. Aside from housing, every other thing in LA is not expensive. For instance, I am paying $12,000 monthly for my rent. Here you just pay your rent, and you’re good.”
The singer’s comments have sparked reactions online, with fans debating the cost of living differences between Nigeria and the United States.
