LaLiga: I Must Confess – Mourinho Speaks On Huijsen’s Red Card After Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has spoken about defender Dean Huijsen’s red card following his team’s 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid in LaLiga on Sunday.

Huijsen was sent off after initially receiving a yellow card from referee Miguel Ángel Ortiz Arias during the match at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium.

Speaking during his post-match interview, Mourinho was asked to comment on the defender’s dismissal.

The Portuguese manager admitted that he had not yet seen the incident clearly enough to give an assessment.

“As for Huijsen’s red card, I must confess I haven’t seen it yet,” Mourinho told reporters.

“It happened too far away from me to make a judgment.”

Real Madrid will now face Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu in their next match after the international break.
