LaLiga: Kylian Mbappe Names Three Players He Would Sign For Real Madrid
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has named club legends Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo Nazário as the three former players he would sign for the Spanish giants if given the opportunity.
The three players are regarded as Real Madrid icons, with Cristiano Ronaldo holding the club’s all-time scoring record with 450 goals. He also won four of his five Ballon d’Or awards during his time at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Ronaldo Nazário won his second Ballon d’Or while playing for Real Madrid and helped the club secure two La Liga titles. Zidane, who also won the Ballon d’Or as a player, achieved major honours both during his playing career and later as Real Madrid manager.
Mbappe joined Real Madrid as a free agent three years ago and has made an impressive start to his career at the club, approaching 100 goals in his third season.
When asked which former Real Madrid players he would bring back to the club, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner told Diario AS, according to Madrid Xtra:
“Which player would I resign for Real Madrid? Cristiano, Zidane, or Ronaldo, if they could return. … Cristiano would come back. Zizou still participates occasionally. And Ronaldo … excellence never diminishes. They represent Real Madrid legends. They contributed significantly and continue to generate tremendous enthusiasm among the Madrid supporters.”
Mbappe scored 86 goals in his first two seasons at the Santiago Bernabéu and won consecutive Pichichi awards, despite Real Madrid finishing behind Barcelona in the La Liga standings in both seasons.
