LaLiga: ‘You Have A Lot To Learn’ – Mourinho Tells Diomande After Sevilla Win

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has advised Yan Diomande to improve several aspects of his game despite scoring in the club’s 4-1 victory over Sevilla in LaLiga on Sunday.

The forward found the net during the emphatic win, recording his second goal for the Spanish giants since joining from RB Leipzig in the summer.

Despite Diomande’s contribution, Mourinho believes the youngster still has significant room for improvement, particularly in his finishing and decision-making in front of goal.

“He still has a lot to learn and several areas of his game to improve, especially his finishing,” Mourinho said after the match.

The Portuguese manager explained that Diomande frequently gets into dangerous attacking positions but needs to remain calmer when making crucial decisions near goal.

“He gets into dangerous positions very often, but he needs to learn to stay calmer and make better decisions with his final touch,” Mourinho added.

Mourinho also compared the youngster to Brazilian forward Vinícius Jr during his early days, suggesting that Diomande possesses similar qualities but must continue developing his overall game.
