Legendary American music executive Clive Davis has died at the age of 94.

According to reports, Davis passed away on Monday at his home in New York City after recently being hospitalized for an upper respiratory infection.

His family confirmed his death in a heartfelt statement, describing him as both a music industry icon and a devoted family man whose impact will be remembered for generations.

The statement read in part:
