According to the woman, the disagreement that preceded the alleged attack started when Adewunmi accused her of infidelity, an allegation she strongly denied.
She further alleged that her husband had been threatening her life for the past 17 years, expressing fear that the latest incident marked a serious escalation of the threats she had endured.
Victim Calls For Justice Over Alleged Attack
The woman appealed to the relevant authorities to investigate the incident and take appropriate action over the alleged assault and threats to her life.
She is seeking justice and wants the circumstances surrounding her injury to be thoroughly investigated.
However, when contacted, Adewunmi gave a different account of what happened, claiming that he accidentally hit his wife with a mobile phone during an argument.
