Mr P Alleges Jude Okoye Threatened Him Over US Property Dispute
Singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has made fresh allegations against his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, claiming he threatened him during a dispute over a property owned by the former P-Square group in the United States.
Mr P made the claims in the fifth episode of his video series, where he continued to speak about the breakdown of their relationship.
He said:
“This incident happened early 2015, it started making sense to me after EFCC told me everything. Why the sudden attack?”
According to the singer, the incident happened in 2015 after the brothers agreed to share their properties, including a duplex in the United States.
Mr P claimed the disagreement began after he discovered that his share of the US property had been put up for sale without his knowledge.
He alleged that when he confronted Jude about the issue at a music event, the situation became heated.
“He told me to get out of his front before he slapped me. He wanted to beat me up before other artistes stepped in.”
Mr P also rejected claims that Jude financially invested in P-Square, insisting that their elder brother, Henry, was the one who supported the group in its early days.
The singer further alleged that he later found documents that were allegedly prepared to transfer his ownership stake in the US property to Jude’s wife, Ifeoma Omokeke.
According to Mr P, he refused to sign the documents after discovering the proposed change in ownership.
He also claimed that Jude insisted he had majority control of the group’s assets and could force him out of the business.
