NFF: Why Seyi Tinubu should lead Nigerian football – Obafemi Martins

Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has backed Seyi Tinubu to become the next president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Speaking on Mikel Obi’s podcast, Martins described Seyi as a young man who understands what Nigerians want from football leadership.

“I think Seyi Tinubu can be the president of NFF. He is young and understands what Nigerians want,” Martins said.

Martins also acknowledged that Seyi is not currently the NFF president but said he has been making efforts in the football space.

“He is not the president yet, but he is making efforts.”

His comments come just days after Ibrahim Musa Gusau resigned as NFF president, leaving the federation facing a new leadership transition.
